"Dead Souls" is a mid-form ambient drone piece using as its source only the spoken word readings of the conclusion of Gogol's "Dead Souls", as read by a volunteer from LibriVox . If you would like to hear the source reading, here it is: LibriVox's Dead Souls at Archive.org. To create the string-like effects, heavy use of the Tone to Noise feature of Paulstretch were used while processing the spoken word.

The mp3 sample rate is not the by-me-preferred 44100Hz.
Otherwise, truly excellent. Thank you !!!
